## Method: what is counted and how

- Source: parfum1's own catalogue, read on 2 November 2026. Each price is the one price shown on the perfume's product page for that size, in euros including VAT.
- Price per ml: the price for a size divided by its volume in ml (3, 10 or 30). Medians are taken over perfumes, so every perfume counts once at each size.
- Size against size: for each perfume, the price per ml of the larger decant is compared with the smaller one, and the median of those changes is reported.
- Houses: a house median is the median price per ml of all its perfumes at that size. The lowest and highest house charts include only houses with at least 3 perfumes.
- Counted: perfumes on sale at 3, 10 and 30 ml. Full bottles and perfumes not currently on sale are not counted.
- Counts: 3,084 prices from 1,028 perfumes and 102 houses. Browse them all in the [catalogue](https://parfum1.com/perfume).
