What parfum1 is

parfum1 sells designer and niche perfumes. Each perfume is available as a decant in 3, 10 and 30 ml, and its page also lists the full-size bottle.

The idea is simple. A perfume is judged on your own skin, over a day, in the weather you actually wear it in. A decant gives you that time without asking you to commit to a whole bottle first.

How a decant is made

Every decant is filled by hand from the original bottle of that perfume into our sealed glass atomiser. Nothing is mixed in and nothing is thinned out, so the perfume smells and wears the way the full bottle does.

Ingredients are those the house lists on the original packaging. The 10 ml atomiser fits a pocket.

Three sizes, one logic

3 ml is enough to get to know a fragrance over a week or so. 10 ml covers weeks of regular wear. 30 ml is for a perfume you already love.

Every perfume page lists all sizes together, with the cost per ml, so the choice stays easy to compare.

How the catalogue is organised

You can browse by house, by scent family, by perfume note and by women, men and unisex. Each house page lists its fragrances, and each note page lists every perfume that carries that note.

Delivery and returns

Orders leave us on the next working day, Monday to Friday. Parcels reach 25 countries of the European Union in 2–3 working days once dispatched, and standard delivery costs nothing from €75.

You have 30 days from delivery to tell us a perfume is not for you, opened and worn decants included. The details are on our delivery and returns pages.

parfum1 is written in 16 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Greek, Czech, Hungarian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Bulgarian and Croatian. Each language has its own address, its own words for the sections of the shop, and its own text.
