Got this for my best friend's birthday and was a bit nervous, since he's picky about what he wears. He sniffed his wrist, went quiet, then said "okay, this is really good". That's high praise from him. He wears it to the office now and says the tobacco and whiskey feel smooth and grown up. It stays with him all day, though I'd have liked a little more reach from it. Four stars for that reason only. A great pick for fall and winter.

Opens with a dry, almost gunpowder snap, then tobacco and whiskey settle in, warm and polished. Projection is moderate, so it works in a meeting room without announcing you. I reach for it on cool autumn mornings, grey days and anything that calls for a jacket. On skin it stays through a full workday and a bit beyond. Not a summer scent; the warmth would be too much there. Definitely a mood of quiet confidence.

Eerst een klein formaat uitgeprobeerd voor ik meer wilde, en wat ben ik blij dat ik dat deed. Het opent met buskruit en tabak, daarna komt de whisky erbij: warm, droog en echt mannelijk. Na een week wist ik het zeker. De geur blijft de hele dag op mijn huid zitten en vult de ruimte op een nette manier, niet te luid. Ideaal voor koude herfstdagen op kantoor. Dit is een absolute topper!

Käytin tätä syksyllä päivätreffeillä, ja tuoksu toimi hyvin. Tupakka ja viski antavat lämpimän, hieman savuisen vaikutelman, mutta se ei ole raskas. Voimakkuus on kohtuullinen, joten se sopii lähietäisyydelle. Pysyy iholla koko päivän. Seuralaiseni huomasi sen heti.
