Aldehydes, tea and mandarin open a dry, aromatic composition where ink, cinnamon and nutmeg sit among bay leaf and caraway. Incense, cedar and vetiver carry it out. Created by Mark Buxton in 1999, it wears long with strong sillage. Nothing about it is sweet, which is the appeal.

Wear it to work most days in autumn. Dry, clean, a bit inky. Two sprays and it lasts through meetings and lunch without bothering anyone. Does exactly what I want.
