Apple 49 Apple is a fruit note that perfumers build with fruity aroma molecules. It smells crisp, juicy and watery, with a green skin, a pale sweetness and a clean, sparkling freshness. Red apples feel sweeter, while green ones are sharper and tart. Perfumers use apple to give the top of a fragrance a bright, friendly lift, and it blends easily with citrus, musk, cedar and white flowers. It can also add a juicy softness to warm woody or amber compositions. Few fruit notes feel so clean and uncomplicated.
Apple sits mostly in the top notes in this range, giving the opening a crisp, juicy and lightly sweet freshness.
