Lavender 135 Lavender is a purple-flowered herb grown in sunny, dry regions. Steam distillation of the flower spikes gives a clean oil. The scent is herbal, floral and fresh, with a slightly sweet, camphor-like edge. It is a core ingredient of colognes and fougères, and it also turns up in warm, sweet blends where it meets vanilla and tonka. Perfumers combine lavender with citrus, woods, geranium and musk. It reads as familiar and clean, but it can also turn dark and aromatic in the right company.
Lavender splits between the top and the heart in this range, bringing a fresh herbal lift that gives way to a softer floral warmth.
