I wore this to a dinner in November and was stopped twice before the main course. One woman asked me to spell the name so she could look it up, and my colleague swore she could smell saffron from across the table. The opening is warm and spicy, then settles into leather and a soft amber that stays for hours. Projection is generous, so two sprays are plenty. It is a cold-weather scent for evenings, and every time I wear it someone comments.
