Orange leaves and pink pepper open this Diptyque fragrance with a green, lightly spiced freshness. Tuberose and Turkish rose fill the middle, creamy and white, before iris and musk leave a powdery finish. Fabrice Pellegrin composed it in 2005; it is very long-lasting, with strong sillage, and made for spring.

An open window on a warm evening, with a garden somewhere just out of sight. That is the mood I get from Do Son. The tuberose is creamy and soft, the pink pepper adds a little sparkle at the start, and it all dries down into something calm and powdery. I wear it for long dinners outside and quiet weekend afternoons in spring and summer. The 10 ml decant has been a lovely companion, and it carries well for hours.

Die Tuberose ist mir zu dominant. Die Kopfnote mit rosa Pfeffer ist schön frisch, aber im Herzen wird es mir zu cremig-blumig und pudrig. Gut gemacht, nur nicht mein Geschmack.

Sobald die ersten warmen Tage kommen, greife ich nach Do Son. Für mich ist das ein Frühlings- und Sommerduft: Rosa Pfeffer am Anfang, dann Tuberose und Türkische Rose, ganz weich. Im Herbst oder Winter lege ich ihn zur Seite, da fühlt er sich für mich zu leicht an. Er hält bei mir den ganzen Tag und man bemerkt ihn gut, aber auf angenehme Art. Einen Stern ziehe ich nur ab, weil ich mir gewünscht hätte, dass er etwas wärmer ausklingt.
