Bergamot, ginger and lemon open sparkling and zesty, then jasmine, magnolia, rose and mandarin orange make a soft floral centre. Amber, cashmeran, sandalwood, patchouli, musk and vanilla warm the base. Composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani, it is strong and long-lasting. Bright, polished and easy to wear.

Office perfume, sorted. Ginger and lemon wake things up in the morning. Soft musk later. Projection is moderate, so no complaints from the desk next to mine. Lasts through the workday and then some. The 10 ml decant is the right size to keep in my bag. Best in warmer months, spring especially. Loses a star because I wanted a little more depth.

Bergamot is a citrus fruit grown mainly for its peel, which is cold-pressed to give a fragrant oil. The scent is bright and sparkling, a little floral and slightly bitter, softer than lemon and less sweet than orange.
Ginger is the underground stem of a tropical plant. Fresh ginger gives a zesty, juicy, almost lemony spice, while dried root oil smells warmer, woodier and more peppery.
Lemon oil is pressed from the peel of the fruit, where the scent is concentrated. In perfume it smells sharp, bright and zesty, with a clean tartness that is less sweet than orange and less floral than bergamot.
Jasmine is a white flower picked by hand when its scent is at its fullest. The absolute made from it smells rich, sweet and heady, with green, fruity and slightly animal sides.
Magnolia flowers are large, creamy and fragrant, and their scent is usually recreated by perfumers. The note smells fresh, lemony and slightly fruity, with a creamy floral softness and a green, leafy edge.
Mandarin oil is pressed from the peel of a small, sweet citrus fruit. The scent is juicy, soft and sunny, sweeter and rounder than lemon or bergamot, with a slight floral thread.
It opens with Bergamot, Ginger and Lemon. The heart holds Jasmine, Magnolia, Mandarin Orange and Rose. It rests on Amber, Cashmeran, Musk, Patchouli, Sandalwood and Vanilla.
