Across 1,028 perfumes from 102 houses in parfum1's catalogue, the median price per ml is €3.24 for a 3 ml decant, €2.72 for 10 ml and €2.30 for 30 ml. For the same perfume, a 30 ml decant costs a median 28.9% less per ml than a 3 ml one. Price per ml by decant size

The larger the decant, the less each ml costs. Perfume by perfume, 10 ml costs a median 15.5% less per ml than 3 ml, and 30 ml costs a median 16.4% less per ml than 10 ml. From 3 ml to 30 ml the median saving per ml is 28.9%. Every one of the 1,028 perfumes is listed in all three sizes, so each comparison uses the same perfume.

The lowest price per ml at every size is Ralph Lauren Polo Sport Fresh: €5.58 for 3 ml, €12.60 for 10 ml and €34.02 for 30 ml, which is €1.13 per ml at 30 ml. Calvin Klein CK One follows at €1.14 per ml at 30 ml. The highest at every size is No. 1 Clive Christian for men: €69.66 for 3 ml, €201.42 for 10 ml and €505.26 for 30 ml, or €16.84 per ml at 30 ml. At 10 ml the highest price per ml is about 16 times the lowest.

Among the 77 houses with at least 3 perfumes, Ralph Lauren has the lowest median at 10 ml, €1.53 per ml across 6 perfumes. Armaf, Lalique and Lattafa follow at €1.59, Lattafa across 21 perfumes. Clive Christian has the highest median, €12.40 per ml across 13 perfumes, then Roja Dove at €8.49 and Nasomatto at €6.94. A house median shows where most of its range sits; single perfumes can be well above or below it, as the full table shows.

Method: what is counted and how

• Source: parfum1's own catalogue, read on 2 November 2026. Each price is the one price shown on the perfume's product page for that size, in euros including VAT.
• Price per ml: the price for a size divided by its volume in ml (3, 10 or 30). Medians are taken over perfumes, so every perfume counts once at each size.
• Size against size: for each perfume, the price per ml of the larger decant is compared with the smaller one, and the median of those changes is reported.
• Houses: a house median is the median price per ml of all its perfumes at that size. The lowest and highest house charts include only houses with at least 3 perfumes.
• Counted: perfumes on sale at 3, 10 and 30 ml. Full bottles and perfumes not currently on sale are not counted.
• Counts: 3,084 prices from 1,028 perfumes and 102 houses. Browse them all in the catalogue.
