Jasmine

107

Jasmine is a white flower picked by hand when its scent is at its fullest. The absolute made from it smells rich, sweet and heady, with green, fruity and slightly animal sides. It is a heart note in most perfumes and the backbone of many floral compositions. Jasmine can feel creamy, indolic and warm, or light and fresh, depending on how it is handled. It works with rose, orange blossom and ylang-ylang, and it also adds a floral glow to woods and musks. A little of it makes a bouquet feel fuller and more alive.

Jasmine is a heart note in most perfumes here, spreading a rich, warm floral glow once the opening notes fade.
