Twilly d'Hermès Eau Poivrée Eau de Parfum is a floral built on pink pepper, rose and patchouli. The spice is soft and warm, and the rose is rounded by woody, earthy depth. Christine Nagel created it in 2019, and it settles easily into a day at the desk or a walk in cool weather.

This has become my work perfume and I'm so happy about it! The 10 ml decant goes in my bag and I spray once in the morning. Pink pepper sparkles first, then a soft rose settles in, polished and never sweet in a sugary way. Coworkers have never found it too much, because it stays at a nice moderate distance, yet it's still there when I leave in the evening. On spring and autumn days at the desk it feels just right.

Ik begon met een klein decantje om te kijken of het bij mijn huid paste, en na een paar dagen wist ik het zeker. Nu heb ik de 30 ml decant en ik ben er superblij mee. De roze peper geeft een mooie pit aan het begin, de roos is warm en elegant en de patchoeli maakt het geheel rond. Het blijft bij mij echt de hele dag zitten, zonder dat het te luid wordt. Voor lente en herfst is het mijn vaste keuze.

Ho preso prima un decant piccolo per capire come reagiva sulla pelle. Pepe rosa vivace in apertura, poi una rosa composta e un fondo di patchouli discreto. Mi ha convinta, ma ne vorrei un po' più di proiezione.

Non conoscevo questo genere di profumo. Nel decant da 3 ml il pepe rosa è elegante, la rosa mai stucchevole.

Am deutlichsten nehme ich den rosa Pfeffer wahr, der gleich zu Beginn prickelt und kurz fast ein wenig spritzig ist. Danach rückt die Rose nach vorn, nicht seifig und nicht zu süß, sondern eher samtig. Im Hintergrund bleibt das Patschuli, das alles erdet und für mich den Duft erst richtig rund macht. Auf meiner Haut hält er einen ganzen Tag, die Wirkung bleibt dabei angenehm moderat. Für Frühling und Herbst finde ich ihn ideal.
