Ambroxan is a modern aroma molecule used by perfumers. It smells warm, woody and ambery, with a mineral, slightly salty and musky quality that feels clean and close to the skin.
Patchouli is a bushy plant of the mint family, grown in Southeast Asia. The leaves are dried, sometimes fermented, and then steam distilled into a dark, thick oil.
