Coconut 49 Coconut is a note perfumers build from aroma molecules, since the fruit gives little scent oil. It smells creamy, milky and sweet, with a nutty, sun-warmed softness that recalls beach days. The note can be lush and tropical or pale and delicate. Perfumers use coconut to add a smooth, creamy sweetness to white florals, vanilla and sandalwood, and it also softens woods and fruit. Used with restraint, it gives a fragrance an easy, sunny feel. The note stays smooth and never turns oily.
