Heliotrope 53 Heliotrope is a garden flower with small purple blooms and a sweet scent. Perfumers recreate it with heliotropin, an aroma molecule that smells like vanilla, almond and a touch of cherry. The note is powdery, soft and creamy, with a gentle floral warmth. It is often compared to marzipan or to a warm pastry. Heliotrope adds a smooth, comforting sweetness to florals, musks and ambers, and it pairs well with vanilla, tonka bean, iris and sandalwood. The feel is gentle, cosy and slightly nostalgic.
Heliotrope is mainly a heart note in this range, adding a soft, powdery almond-and-vanilla sweetness to the middle of the fragrance.
