Spices

Spices is a general catalogue label covering the warm, aromatic notes of the spice rack: pepper, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, cardamom, saffron and more. In perfumery spices are either hot and sweet, like cinnamon and clove, or bright and peppery, like cardamom and pink pepper. They are distilled or extracted from seeds, bark, buds and stigmas. The label tells you a fragrance has a spicy character without naming which one. Spices add warmth and energy to woods, amber, florals and leather, and give an opening some bite.

In this range spices mostly open a fragrance in the top and heart, adding warmth and a little bite before woods and amber arrive.
