Five celebrity fragrances launched between June and October 2026: Khloé Kardashian's XO Blue, Ariana Grande's Cloud Aurora, Megan Thee Stallion's Hot Girl Summer, Billie Eilish's Eilish Intense and Tate McRae's Tate 01. Cloud Aurora is a sugar-and-vanilla scent, Tate 01 a bergamot-and-moss skin scent. Clément Gavarry composed Cloud Aurora and XO Blue, Adriana Medina and Antoine Maisondieu composed Tate 01, and the Eilish Intense release names no perfumer. Where a size is stated, full-size US list prices run from $75 to $88; XO Blue is listed at $58 to $80 with no sizes given. The sales figures behind the genre come from trade press and one company executive.

What counts as a celebrity perfume in 2026

Two different things share the search term. In the first, the celebrity's name is the brand: the line is run with a partner company. The releases and trade press name the partners: Luxe Brands for Ariana Grande and Khloé Kardashian, Parlux for Billie Eilish, Scent Beauty for Sabrina Carpenter and Tate McRae, and Coty for Megan Thee Stallion.

In the second, a designer house owns the perfume and a celebrity fronts the campaign. Variety covered several of these in August 2026, and they are covered further down.

The 2026 launches at a glance

This is a selection of launches with a release or press coverage in the sources below, not a complete list. Prices are US list prices from the releases and the coverage cited, checked on 2 November 2026.

Cloud Aurora and XO Blue: Gavarry's two summer launches

Clément Gavarry is the perfumer named on both releases. The Cloud Aurora release credits him at Firmenich and calls him the same perfumer behind Cloud and Cloud Pink; the XO Blue release names him as a dsm-firmenich perfumer.

Cloud Aurora was announced on 29 June 2026 for a 14 July launch. The release names spun sugar, fluffy musk and juicy blackcurrant, moving into vanilla-dipped petals and cosy woods, with a finish of vanilla smoke and golden amber. Grande says she wanted it to feel "comforting and uplifting at the same time", like "wrapping yourself in the warmth and light of a vanilla-kissed daydream." It is the newest addition to the Cloud collection. For vanilla scents across the range, see our vanilla perfume guide.

XO Blue is a different mood. The release says it opens with the shimmer of lychee and bergamot, with a heart of dewy magnolia and a whisper of creamy coconut, and a dry-down of sheer, airy woods. It went on sale in the US online on 14 June and in stores on 21 June, in the UK on 15 June and in Europe on 22 June. The release presents it as the third pillar in Kardashian's fragrance portfolio and gives no bottle sizes.

Eilish Intense, Hot Girl Summer and Tate 01

Eilish Intense went on sale on 28 July, developed with Parlux. The release gives red berries and mandarin over sugared petals, a heart of creamy vanilla, soft spices and cocoa, and a base of warm musks, tonka bean and sleek woods, and labels the style amber gourmand. The release does not name a perfumer. Variety reports a gold-plated bottle and a woody scent.

Hot Girl Summer is Megan Thee Stallion's limited-edition fragrance, developed in partnership with Coty. The Source describes creamy coconut milk, orchid blooms and warm vetiver oil, in 90 ml at $84 and 10 ml at $29, and names no perfumer.

Tate 01 is the outlier. E! Online names sparkling bergamot, clary sage, orange flower, Hedione, Iso E Super, sensual moss and creamy tonka, made with Scent Beauty by perfumers Adriana Medina and Antoine Maisondieu. McRae says it is "entirely second-skin: effortless, subtly edgy, and perfectly you." Bustle reads it as a white floral that warms up over time, with amber, sandalwood and tonka emerging. E! has it drying into warm amber and soft woods, and Bustle names amber, sandalwood and tonka, so both land on amber and woods.

Our reading of the note lists: Cloud Aurora and Eilish Intense are sweet, XO Blue and Hot Girl Summer lean on coconut, and Tate 01 is the one pitched as a white-floral skin scent that warms to amber.

What the sales numbers actually say

The big figures in 2026 coverage come from trade press, and only one names who supplied it. Glossy states that Ariana Grande has sold more than $1 billion worth of fragrance since 2015, with no source named in the sentence, and that Sabrina Carpenter's line passed $100 million in global retail sales in 2025. The second number comes from the Scent Beauty chief executive, Stephen Mormoris, who also cited growth of upward of 60% year over year.

A third-party estimate is much smaller. YipitData put Carpenter's US sales in 2025 at over $11 million, up 10% on 2024. The two figures are not like-for-like: one is global retail value from the company, the other a US-only estimate. Neither is an audited ranking.

For wider context, Circana reported that fragrance outperformed the US prestige beauty market in 2025, and that US women's prestige fragrance passed $500 million in the three weeks to 17 May 2025, up 7%. It also reported that sales of new scents increased 31%. Circana's page contains no celebrity figures.

Designer perfumes with a celebrity face

Variety's 27 August 2026 roundup covers perfumes that belong to the house. Prada Beauty named Zendaya global ambassador for Paradoxe, with neroli, amber and musk, at $180; our Paradoxe versions guide compares the formats.

Armani's I Will, fronted by Jonathan Bailey, pairs bergamot, vanilla and wood-leather at $170 and is presented as the house's first new men's fragrance in more than 20 years. Valentino Vendetta Donna, with Dakota Johnson, has nectar, tuberose and sandalwood at $150. Vendetta Uomo, with Alexander Skarsgård, has ginger, a cinnamon-liquor accord and patchouli at $110. For more men's picks, see our men's guide.

How to choose between them

  • Start with the notes. Sweet notes point to Cloud Aurora (spun sugar, vanilla) or Eilish Intense (sugared petals, vanilla, cocoa), coconut and florals to XO Blue or Hot Girl Summer, a bergamot and white-floral skin scent to Tate 01.
  • Look for a named perfumer. Cloud Aurora, XO Blue and Tate 01 name one. The Eilish Intense and Hot Girl Summer sources do not.
  • Compare price per 100 ml. On these sources Cloud Aurora is $75 for 100 ml, Eilish Intense $88 for 3.4 oz (about 100 ml) and Hot Girl Summer $84 for 90 ml, about $93 per 100 ml; Tate 01 comes in three sizes from $30, and Bustle gives $82. US prices only; prices vary by country.
  • Try a small size first. Several launches come in travel sizes of $29 to $32. parfum1 offers 3 and 10 ml decants of other perfumes, for example from the niche picks or our women's guide. For what eau de parfum means, see the concentration guide.

Questions and answers

Who makes celebrity perfumes?
Celebrity brands work with a partner company such as Luxe Brands, Scent Beauty, Parlux or Coty. The scent itself is composed by perfumers at fragrance houses, for example Clément Gavarry for Cloud Aurora and XO Blue.
Which celebrity perfumes launched in 2026?
Sourced releases and press coverage cover XO Blue (June), Hot Girl Summer (July), Cloud Aurora (14 July), Eilish Intense (28 July) and Tate 01 (October). It is a selection, not a complete list.
How much do celebrity perfumes cost?
From the releases and coverage: Cloud Aurora $75 for 100 ml, Hot Girl Summer $84 for 90 ml, Eilish Intense $88 for 3.4 oz and Tate 01 from $30 across three sizes, with $82 per Bustle. XO Blue is $58 to $80, printed at about €59 to €79 in Europe.
Are celebrity perfumes selling well?
Reported figures say so: Glossy reports that Sabrina Carpenter's line passed $100 million in global retail in 2025, a figure the Scent Beauty chief executive gave, while YipitData estimated over $11 million in US sales. These figures are not like-for-like.
Is a celebrity perfume different from a designer perfume with a celebrity face?
Yes. In the first the celebrity's name is the brand; in the second the house owns the perfume and the celebrity fronts the campaign, as Zendaya does for Prada Paradoxe.
What does a celebrity perfume smell like?
It depends on the launch. Cloud Aurora and Eilish Intense are sweet, with vanilla in the heart or finish, XO Blue lychee and coconut, Hot Girl Summer orchid, coconut and vetiver, and Tate 01 bergamot, moss and tonka.
